Competitive Food Sales and Fundraising

Best Practices
  • Sell non-food items, or food and beverages that meet or exceed nutrition standards.
  • Encourage fundraisers that support nutrition, physical activity and other wellness-related activities (walk- or jog-a-thons, jump rope for heart, fun runs, etc.).
  • Selling food to fundraise? Work with Food Service to ensure foods are compliant.
  • Profits must benefit student needs, the school or food service.
