Health Care Resources-MAA Outreach

Children with access to health care and adequate nutrition are healthier, they miss fewer days of school and perform better in school. Our goal at NVUSD is to have each child healthy and well and learning to the best of their abilities. If you need assistance the Children’s Health Initiative is a local resource to help connect families to services. These services can include medical, dental and vision coverage and can be through Medi-Cal, Kaiser or Healthy Kids, they also screen families for eligibility to nutrition assistance, the CalFresh program. The dedicated staff at CHI are certified bilingual application assistants. Here are some links designed to help you access the health care you may require.
