What is an Intranet?

It's a small, personalized version of the Internet. NVUSD will use this tool to provide staff and parents secure access to online information.

The internet provides public access to all without the need to log in. The intranet provides private access to certain groups, requiring a login.

NVUSD's intranet project will provide two secure platforms for online access: a portal for parents and an intranet for staff.
