History

Our school is located in the central area of the city of Napa.

Learning Environment

Valley Oak High School is more than just an institution for learning. It is a safe place. It is security, compassion, and harmony. Valley Oak is successful because of its caring and supportive staff that is always ready to assist students.  Students use computers and telecommunication technologies, engage in meaningful projects designed to enhance basic academic, time management, presentation, career exploration, and employment skills.

EXPECTED STUDENTS LEARNING RESULTS (ESLR's)

ESLR #1 : Students will have many opportunities to prepare for successful transition from High School to higher education and a 21st century work place.

ESLR #2 : Students will work toward the development of the self-confidence, compassion,ethics and cultural sensitivity necessary to live peacefully and work collaboratively in the world community.

ESLR #3 : Students will work to develop self-determination and sense of empowerment through creative expression and real-world application projects.

ESLR #4 :Students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be considered a well-rounded
