History

While Yountville Elementary has roots dating back to 1881, the current school was built in 1976.

Learning Environment

We believe that a positive and safe environment is essential for quality student learning. Our students benefit from our school wide positive behavior program BEST, as well as monthly assemblies, honoring students for exemplifying specific character traits.

Academic Environment

Yountville Elementary is committed to implementing Project Based Learning (PBL), kindergarten through 6th grade. We believe PBL provides students with the authentic learning experiences that are necessary to prepare them for the 21st Century. We provide a well rounded education, including specialized art and science instruction.

Parent and Community Involvement

Our families and community members are very involved in our school. Our students benefit from numerous field trips (many local) and daily classroom volunteers. Our PTA is very active and successful. We welcome volunteers and involvement at any level.
