History

Donaldson Way Elementary is one of three elementary schools serving the growing community of American Canyon, Ca.

Learning Environment

Our elementary program is built on a learning environment that supports inquiry, collaboration and the development of positive self-worth.  Our vision is to instill a love of learning, inspire self-motivation and a passion for excellence in our students, staff, parents, and community.

Academic Environment

Donaldson Way teachers and staff members believe that all students can succeed in a standards-based , objective driven program given enough time, resources and research-based differentiated instruction.  The mission of Donaldson Way Elementary School is to provide all students with equal access and equitable opportunities to master grade level standards, and to cultivate a shared understanding among adults of what excellent teaching and learning is and how to sustain high expectations for each child.

Parent Environment

We encourage parents to volunteer in our school and welcome parent input on school-wide decisions through our parent organization...
