·         Credit Recovery is shifting from “summer school” to a year-round model.  Those students in grades 10-12 who have failed classes and need to make up units may attend classes on the Adult Education campus and on the American Canyon High School campus.  Contracts need to be submitted by the school counselor to Adult Education and prioritized by need, i.e., 12^th graders needing credits to graduate will be top priority, then 12^th, 11^th and 10^th graders accordingly.  A blended model including direct instruction and Apex digital curriculum will be utilized in these classrooms.  The summer session will be held from June 13^th – July 11^th.


Students should contact their counselor to complete paperwork.  This paperwork will be forwarded to the Adult Education office where students will be placed into classrooms by priority.  Any student who does not complete in the summer, will be able to continue into the fall.  All students must adhere to specific guidelines for attendance and progress to remain in the program.
